Mass Time Change

Starting September 5, 2021

Starting this Sunday September 5th, 2021, Mass Time at St. John of the Woods will be changed as follows:

  • Saturday
    Confessions 5pm
    Mass 6pm

  • Sunday
    Mass 9:30am
    Mass 11:30am

Thank you for your continuing support and prayers as we move through this transition period. May the Lord, our Good Shepherd guide and protect us.



Asphalt Project Is Complete!

Our asphalt project is complete! Our campus looks clean and fresh and it was made possible by the continued stewardship and generosity of parishioners.

Thank you for your stewardship and support to the parish at St. John Of the Woods. Thank you for your patience! A big THANK to our facility members who were there to make sure the project get done rightly.

Parish Leadership Meeting

We invite you to join the new parish leadership meeting today Wednesday, September 1st.

This is the first time the regional parish communities meeting together: St. Ann, St. John of the Woods, Visitation and Holy Rosary.

  • Finance Council meets at 6pm
  • Pastoral Council meet at 7pm

These meetings will be held in-person, and it will be in St. Ann's Church basement.  



Faith Formation Registration is open!

The classes of CCD & First Communion, RCIA, and Confirmation 2021 - 2022 are accepting Registration now. 
The form and class schedule can be found at the entrance of the church  or on the website.


  • CCD & First Communion class will begin Sunday September 19, 2021 from 10:15am - 11:15am
  • RCIA class will begin Monday September 13, 2021 at  6:30pm in St. Ann school
  • Confirmation class will begin January, 2021. More information to follow



2021 - 2022 Annual Catholic Appeal Update

We have just received our 1st Annual Appeal rebate check in the amount of $798.14 that will be used for paving project. Thank you to all who have paid AND continue to pay their Annual Catholic Appeal pledge.

    As our country marks twenty years since the terrorist attacks of September 11, we gather at St. James Cathedral to remember and mourn those who died. We also honor the many first responders who put themselves in harm’s way to bring others to safety.
