- Update on Coronavirus and Parish Openings
Governor Inslee released new guidance outlining how Washington state re-open with 4 phases. If all goes well, each phase will last approximately 3 weeks. However, it's possible that each phase will last longer if the virus spread starts to increase.
The Bishops have been working through the Washington State Catholic Conference (WSCC) to connect and influence Governor Jay Inslee’s office regarding the safe return to our spiritual celebrations. Friday, they submitted the attached draft guidelines for returning to Mass, which reflects the joint work of all three dioceses in Washington. The plan is not meant to be implemented immediately. At this point, only live-stream Masses may be offered.
